Now it's up to Jane to continue her investigation without risking her heart or losing her son.But are they really safe, or will the two most important men in her life give her a reason to run?Admittedly, I was a bit disappointed in "Two Reasons to Run", possibly because I had been so enamored with "One Little Lie". Rather than delving deep, this book felt as if I was barely skimming the surface of what really is a very good story. That being said, I have full confidence that this author will rebound with an exciting conclusion, because the final chapters of this book were the best. And isn't that the way it should be? You can still enjoy this book if you haven’t read the first one in the series but I would highly recommend that you do so first. If you do not you will miss a lot of the subtle nuances that make the story rock. Jane, Reid and Will are trying to put the pieces of their family together. Jane and Reid get caught up in a new case which puts them all in danger. The story is fast paced and filled with adrenaline as they try to stay one step ahead of a killer. It is also filled with a deep abiding faith that allows Reid to trust that things will turn out well. The story will conclude in the next book and I cannot wait to see if these three get the happy ending they deserve.
